https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...dd0f8a882.jpeg Hey guys, I started to set up my track and I still seem to have an issue with the tile count. As it stands when I do the track exactly to the schematic I am still 4 straight tiles short. I have counted the tiles and I believe I am correct in my thinking. Can an one of you guys shoot a quick picture of how you are set up. Thanks. Cheers, Jim |

Switching to the smooth side has been much more difficult then I would have ever guessed but I am starting to figure it out. The smooth side is giving me way better traction then my rough side which is causing me all sorts of issues with traction rolls. I have spent the last few days trying to take traction out of the front end and readjusting my driving and I am finally feeling better. When I say I am having trouble with TR'ing I mean it was bad.....I could traction roll any of my cars, including the GLR with a brass chassis, at will. With that said I went much harder on the front springs and played around with dampening fluid and springs. I was also crazy rusty after not running for the better part of two months.
I have put a decent number of laps in over the last few days and it has started to finally click, being that it was a bit cooler in the house this morning traction felt a bit down which was great for my Box Stock car but it took a good 30 laps to get heat into the LM tires but they both felt pretty good once they were up to temperature. I will say that Traveler's Box Stock run must have been a good one, my run was pretty darn clean and and I bettered his time by all of 2/10th over 75 laps......that is good racing. I am starting to figure out my new GLR, I like it. I just figured out the ESC programming last night and I have to say it is much easier to drive with a bit of drag brake. I am still not terribly consistent with it but I am getting better. I have ordered a couple sets of PN KS Firm front tires, hoping I can make them work to my liking. Good to be back running laps. Cheers, Jim |

Just remember the more firm u go the softer u will be on front springs to get the same feel. I'm on reds on my 70 comp car but my stock I'm on whites because the turn in is way more aggressive then with my 98mm car vs the 93mm car
That is my hope, I find that running stiffer springs makes the car a bit of "on edge" and I kind of like a bit more of a muted response that a softer car gives. It may not be ultimately quicker but I find it easier to drive. I am just hoping that running the firms does not take away to much steering.... BTW, I was looking at your 70 Comp car and that looks like it is actually in ProStock for the M96WC since it looks like you are running a 3500kv motor. I just wanted to confirm the class that chassis is in. Off to run some laps on my GLR and see what I can come up with. I have turned some seriously fast laps but I just cannot link 75 of them together. Cheers, Jim |

By ur rules it's legit stock not pro stock (Stock- Any 4AAA Nimh Chassis , OEM or 70T brushed motor or 3500kv Brushless motor, Autoscale/White body.) |
