If your answer is yes, then join the first ever NASCAR-like rc race in the Philippines. The 1st Amoranto Velotrack RC Challenge. To be held on June 9, 2007 at Amoranto Stadium, Roces Ave., Q.C.
This Race is open to all kinds of RC racers. From Nitro touring cars, Monster trucks, Truggies, Stadium Trucks, and to Electric racers as well.
This event will be featured on ABS-CBN's Sports Unlimited, if negotiations pushes through.
Practice Dates : May 19, Saturday, 9am -1pm.

June 2, Saturday, 9am -1pm

Hanz: Malabo magkaroon ng Tracks pa dito... Since Trashing and Bashing lang dahilan kaya bumibili mga Lokal dito... One more thing nga pala if ever it works para sa Savage Setup... Since it Works sa Onroad... Naka Toe-in yung mga Gulong sa Likod for Better Stability at High speeds.
Regarding naman dun sa Choice of Electric Motor... it would be better to Use Single turn than Double... Cause Single Turns are for High Speed and Double are for High Torque... V2 endbells are Ok din... Otherwise go for a Speed Standup Brush Endbell Configuration, kasi yung Laydown may Drag brakes.
These are the usual Motor Types.
1.Speed Stand-up......SS
2.Torque Stand-up......TS
3.Speed Lay-down......SL
4.Torque Lay-down......TL
The V2 Endbell uses Round Brushes and angled at a 45deg.
Im not yet familiar sa Brushless.. though from what I know... kailangan din ng ESC for Brushless para dun... Gastos naman yata yun.
Anyway... These are all Trial and Error setups...but most likely, the Errors will come from the Driver. Hehehehehe
