Striker/BLP/rshornet: Nice suggestions bros. Maybe we'll have another class for the Yokomo, Xray and other 1/12 tourers. I'm not very familiar with their performance, baka chibugin lang nila yung mga Tamiya. Let's keep the race as simple and as basic as possible. We'll just have a good time, primarily.

Suggest pa kayo. Tulungan nyo na rin ako mag-organize. I just want all Pinoy Mini drivers to come alive.

count me in! have a mo3 mini. why not pattern it after TCS rules or it could be as simple as stock 540 motors only, tapos bahala ka na sa hopups mo.

definitely no match ang tamiya m series sa 1/12th yok, xray etc.

Lil's Hobby Shop in Megamall and Park Square 1 still has spare parts as well as hop-up parts for the TA-02, so don't be afraid.

2. what would be a good tamiya pick-up for a newbie like me who'll just probably use more a little backyard bashing than racing though I do intend to go to the qc circle track and join up.

I think the question should rather be "good Tamiya chassis" than "good Tamiya pick-up". I say the TL-01 is a great chassis to start with. Seald gearbox, shaft driven and very sturdy! it'll last a long time with just playing around.

so i guess it should be run in the spirit of fun not competition like you said. so i guess all types of cars should be allowed.

Mot-Mot

Tamiya only made several pick-up bodies and will fit in most of the Tamiya chassis line-up.

- Wild Dagger and Mad Bison bodies
- Stadium Raider body
- King Blackfoot and the new Extreme Blackfoot
- F150 and the Toyota Prerunner and the Chevy

Most of these bodies will fit almost all standard wheelbase chassis, except of course the mini chassis series.

Open or 540 stock is a good suggestion, with no limit to hopups basta kasya ang M series na body without any major wheelwell change or tires sticking out. . . . yung tipong nag mukhang monster truck tuloy

i agree with striker, 2wd and 4wd, 1/10 or 1/12, basta mini cooper body ok. pero sana motor and tires mini cooper size din. what you think?
