Keno: Thanks for posting the videos. I had excellent video mileage at the 2nd heat of the 4WD class! I just had to download it with www.keepvid.com...
-------------------
Racers! Better get your 4WD kits ready... I'll definitely try to aim for my 3rd win in a row in the 4WD buggy class this coming Sunday!
I'll also work hard with my ST... I'm also itching for a win in this class...

Speaking of saddle lipo packs...
For the past 3 races, I had used Yuntong's 20C 4800mAh, back to back with my Maxamps 15C 4400mAh.
As far as I know, Yuntong is the OEM supplier of Reedy lipo packs and as far as I had scrounged the net, Yuntong cells have reputable performance.
I'd much prefer to have hard-cased saddle lipo packs but I couldn't afford one yet.
So, if you're on a bit of a tight budget, you can opt to head over to http://www.rcbuy.vstore.ca and buy these saddle packs for CAD90 worldwide-shipped (please note this promo comes on and off periodically).
I got my first pack for CAD85 at the post office about 2 months ago (3 weeks waiting time for it to arrive). I have another one coming in a few weeks time (additional "armory" for the upcoming Nationals ).
To provide additional protection to the soft pack, I just fabricated a protective sleeve out of 0.5mm clear plastic sheet and used heat shrink tube (the ones used for 6-cell NiMH packs) to hold it with the pack.
I also replaced the included Dean's clone female plug (crappy) with an original.
I'll post a picture of the pack when I get home tonight...

STEALTH: I'll be joining you in the race with either the X-5 squared or the Predator X11...We shall see...
jobo_ph: That's another great find pre!!! I'll look it up....BTW, the SUNON fan is holding up very well on the Mamba Monster Max...We had a bash session last Saturday (DMC less some members) to try out the E-TRUGGY and E-BUGGY for kicks. It's still running strong after a few packs. Again, thank you pre....
