Hong Nor have designed new light weight 46T spur gear, 43T and 10T spiral gears

The No. X2S-17 light weight 46T spur gear is made by high carbon steel
SCM21 material with CNC miller and is heat treated for maximum durability.
This new 46T light weight spur gear will reduce the revolving mass of center differential and deliver more power to the drive line.

The No. X2S-19 light weigh 43T and 10T spiral gear set is made by the same material with CNC miller to 1.5mm deep in the back to take away the weight and to lighten the gears. The 43T and 10T gears use a 30 degree design, therefore they can not be used separately. (Both gears are laser engraved for identification.)

The combination of these gears not only change the gear ratio but also provide more choice for your clutch bell.

HN X2 buggy is using same truggy x2 spiral gear ratio 10-45 and standard 17-44 centre gear.

X2 gears helps to turn the centre shaft more speed and easy pick up from thro control compare with X1 buggy. Which is, little pull of the thro will have very nice speed control for pick up, mid speed at the cornoring. These will help u get one min extra run time to get in the pit lane for refuel.

The speed from centre shaft is so powerful. Therefore centre diff oil can be lower. If X1 buggy is 7k-7k-3k, then X2 can be 7k-5k-3k. This adjustment will helps to stable the rear tyre less rolling.

One problem from X2 buggy, the break disk will get overheat after 30min(Malaysia weather). specialy for main final since centre shaft is turning too fast. (If u are using digital servos)

So here is the solution to control the break temp & save the servo without over pull to get servo death. Also help to keep the servo and batt long last and good performance for 1hour main final. even if not winning the champion. but very nice to play as more race u can without spending extra $ for servos.

Solution:
one pc home made disk break 1.5mm thick (larger size)
two pcs Option disk for rear.
three pcs Option break pad.

Photo attached. have a try.

Fuel tank solution.
If u found the fuel tank is scratched from the chassis.
This will help.

Attached some washer to level up the fuel tank.

Photo Attached.

Enjoy the HN-X2 buggy.
