Clarification of rules

@Mr LowDown
Sorry for the late response. Since SSGP is a relatively new class, we are allowing both forward and reverse function to be usable during the race. Regarding the rims, any type is permitted.

@Everyone
There are some clarification in the rules at page 1. This is not an addition of rules but extension of what's already there. 2 things to note:-

Functionality of electronic speed controller (ESC)
Rims

With regards to ESC, as mentioned, since SSGP is a new class, we will allow both forward and reverse functionality to be used in the race. While for the 1/10 Electric touring, we will be following the IFMAR rules which states that only forward functionality is allowed during the race. We are sorry for not stating this clear earlier and we hope that such presumption will be avoided in the future.

For rims, we are not controlling the type(s) that the racer will want to use. Again, we are sorry for not stating this earlier. In future, all rules will be made available much earlier prior to the race.

CANNOT use: Protoform Mazda Speed 6, Dodge Stratus, LTCR, etc
CAN use: Subaru Impreza, Nissan Silvia, Nissan GT-R, Ford Mustang, Arta Garaiya, Advan Courage, etc
Only 1/10 Electric Touring Car chassis is permitted
Any battery type & capacity is permitted
Handout 48T brush motor will be given
Any tyre brand is permitted provided it is rubber-based

1/10 Electric Touring Race
Total minimum weight = 1500g (not including transponder)
Any touring bodyshell under the IFMAR rules is permitted
No enforcement of dimensions based on IFMAR rules
Any battery type & capacity is permitted
Motor is restricted to 11.5T brushless or 23T brush motor
Any tyre brand is permitted provided it is rubber-based
