Main race: Super Scale-Car Grand Prix (SSGP)Originally from Japan, SSGP will make it's Malaysian debut here in Kuantan. This class runs with a realistic bodyshell and a predetermined handout motor. This motor is usually a high turn, brush motor which will result in less motor maintenance, fewer chassis damage and definitely beginner-friendly. Clean racing lines is the game here and not to forget, the fun factor is high too. Here is a video of a SSGP in Japan:

Support race: 1/10 Electric TouringThis class need no further explanation except that it is one of the most popular electric class in Malaysia, if not the most.

If you join both classes, the total fees would be RM170 (RM190-20)


Rules:
Super Scale-Car Grand Prix (SSGP)

1. Total minimum weight = 1600g (not including transponder)
2. Only realistic bodyshell / Non-touring bodyshell is permitted
   CANNOT use: Protoform Mazda Speed 6, Dodge Stratus, LTCR, etc
   CAN use: Subaru Impreza, Nissan Silvia, Nissan GT-R, Ford Mustang, Arta Garaiya, Advan Courage, etc
3. Only 1/10 Electric Touring Car chassis is permitted
4. Any battery type & capacity is permitted
5. Handout 48T brush motor will be given
6. Forward and Reverse function of ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) are permitted
7. Any tyre brand is permitted provided it is rubber-based tyre. Any type of rims is permitted.

1/10 Electric Touring Race

1. Total minimum weight = 1500g (not including transponder)
2. Any touring bodyshell under the IFMAR rules is permitted
   No enforcement of dimensions based on IFMAR rules. *That being said, we will educate those in the dark on IFMAR dimensions for future races.*
3. Any battery type & capacity is permitted
4. Motor is restricted to 11.5T brushless or 23T brush motor
5. Only Forward function of ESC is permitted (as per IFMAR rules)
6. Any tyre brand is permitted provided it is rubber-based tyre. Any type of rims is permitted

8:30-9:00am Driver's briefing & Photo session
9:00-9:30am Pre-Qualifying Sessions (3min/group)
9:30-9:45am Sorting driver's group
9:45-12:15pm Qualifying Heats (5min/heat)
12:15-1:00pm Lunch break + Sorting driver's Finals group
1:00-3:00pm Finals (SSGP A-Main: 10min, B-Main: 7min, C-Main & Touring: 5min)
3:00-3:30pm Tabulate results
3:30-4:00pm Announce results & Prize giving

We are only able to accommodate EP for the time being. GP race is currently in the pipe. Do be patient and lets try to make this race work before moving on to the next race. Don't bite more then you can chew.
