Default transponders

Does the track have any transponders or do you have to provide your own?

Ron, I use the Castle Mamba Max Pro ESC with a Novak motor. Im still working on getting my Big Dog complete though. I keep finding things I want to change. I think I may be under motored for the Big Dog with only using a 10.5T Novak but we will see. I did find out on a test run a while back that a 9000KV Castle is wayyyyyy too much motor. The biggest thing I like about the Castle ESC is the tuneability. In off road it seems the Novak ESC's wont hold up for me BUT I love the Novak motors.

Im not sure what you have for electronics now but from what I remember you probably already have it covered.

Im really just trying to find out what turn motor is good for 2wd short course class . So i take it the rule is open motor in the 2wd class or is their a limit? Where are the class rules listed? I like the Tekin speed conrols and how easy the hotwire setup is.

10.5 is the usual recommended motor for 2WD SC at Mikes. I ran one in a XXX-SCT and it was fantastic. Not too fast, not too slow, and temps stayed under 130 after ten minutes of driving as fast as I can. I tend to like either Reedy or Trinity D3 motors.
