Hmmm.....all right. But the problem is that I have to buy the Electric buggy also because I have everything for it, and I am more familiar with it. This nitro buggy needs to cost me $500 or less to start out. The buggy is about $300, so the rest must fit into that $200 slot.
Although, if I do manage to find someone who wants my ve8 (or a t4 I guess), I will be able to open the door to better stuff.
So, my list of items:
-Nitro buggy
-Starter Box
-Engine
-Fuel bottle
-Glow plugs
-Fuel
-Air Filters
-Fuel Tubing
-Clutch parts
-Clutch Bells
Anything else?
I assure you, the Caster's are as, if not more, durable than the Mugen's (and most buggies).

i would try to find a used buggy for spares. that way you got all the parts covered, keeping in mind theres limited parts support, if any at dirt burners if you break something. just get all your essentials to get running. then you can buy spares and other gear down the road.

i run vp pro and beta tires, right now im running aka wishbones at smac cause they havent made a indoor "barcodish" style tire yet. im trying to get ahold of a starter box for ya. i think i can get you a chrome top ofna box with a 12v gel cell battery. its a heavy beast compared to the new smaller lipo boxes but it will last forever and its powerful enough to start a mack truck or peterbuilt, whichever you prefer lol

All right, I am now committed to Caster! I just bought both the Electric and Nitro Buggies, along with some parts. So Erce, those parts will be used

bairly used the thing- i can only recall racing it 4 times or so, and lightly bashing it twice! she still has GREAT compression, i always used after run oil, and only has about 1 1/2 gallons through her. if it donmt work for some reason, i'll take it back n repay you if you wish.
the box is adjustable and it too was used like 4 times.. $100 or $110 new... i ssaid imd sell it to yahh for $50 or so... its almost like you have a 50/ 50 sponsorship on me too... hahaha
btw, i saw that pick of the fried RX8 a few pages back- it worried the crud outta me! just bought one myself for my SC10 4x4 indoor and 1/8 buggy outdoor! i heard about he boards breaking and shorting- should i just put 4 layers of servo tape/ mounting gel tape for it? also, what is a reccomended motor for 1/8 buggys? It weighs about 5 lbs empty (no esc or battery--- thats a random guess).
ALSO, is a 3s 20c 500mah LiPo ok for db, or do i have to buy a whole nother pack? imd like to try and stay with my 3s if that changes the motor kv reccomended
thanks!
PS: carter, just remember i have a fuel filte on her too that ill include with the stuff when u buy it... it was $15 (i think) new- it is a racer edge silver one... recently cleaned whn i tore down my OFNA Ultra LX One for a complete rebuild...
