At 7:30pm last night, I was clearing up my desk at PYC as usual. I put my stuffs one by one to my car. And the last things on my desk was 2 pairs of glasses (one sunglasses and one usual optical). When I returned back, they were gone. After carpet-type searching with my friend, the sunglasses appeared on one far table. The guy said that he thought someone has left this over. I asked why didn't he report to 3P. He just repeated that he thought someone has left it over. When I asked about my other glasses, he said that he only saw the sunglasses. But everybody (my friend and 3P) knows that he is no doubt the suspect. In fact, he picked up my Tempo too.

I don't want to complain, complain and complain. But I think that's why HK is sooooo "properous" today.
how does that 'poor guy' look like??

Middle-age dirty dark-skin man like Jong Sau Lo. But not him, of course. And he played GP alone.

Default My EVO2

Hi guys,

I am new to this hobby. Just bought an EVO2 for two months. I assembled the car well without defects. However I found the car difficult to drive (the car skid a lot). May be due to wrong tires. Would anybody help to recommend the following:

1. I am using 23T, what tires do you recommend?

2. is setup kit really necessary?

3. I am using JRRacing XR2, any better radio/receiver, pricing please.

4. Any track to play on Hong Kong side? I went to speeddome once, not too much comment.

Raymond: For me, I run with Sorex tires. Tires depend on temperature, so sometimes 32R, sometimes 28R. For insert, I like Yokomo 039F or HPI orange!
Setup kit is not really necessary when you're new to this hobby! But at least make sure you got a height gauge, a camber gauge and a flat surface for doing measurement!! (These may not cause so much...)
I think JR XR2 should be Ok... But, you know, the highest the price, the greatest should be their quality/performance... I think it's ok to keep your radio equipments until later you want to get deeper into RC!!!
I think there's a public track at Causeway Bay... But it's very sticky (dirty!?) as it's been ruined by gas-powered RC car!!

Do chat with Lobo at SpeedDome for advice! He will kindly inform you about tire choosing for his indoor track!!

Default Thank you Fai

I will buy the camber gauge and the height gauge, and a new set of tires/wheels.

Sometimes hobby shops in MK so "lo dim", which hobby shop would you recommend. And what happened to Dinball, it's gone.

Try Uncle Chan at King's Hobby......He usually has time for his customers.

Tires are probably your biggest problem. The Xray should run good when you have this sorted. The weather is a little "inbetween" right now. Daytime with sun out should be Sorex 36R country....night time is around 32R or 28R. If you are running indoor on carpet that is another issue. We use to run Xpress treaded tires....nice n cheap and gives enough grip to 'slide' the car on carpert!
