that predates what im thinking of. im thinking of the exact slave trade the US (and everyone else for the matter) participated in up until the end of the civil war. you could buy white Europeans as well as black Africans. we just didn't import the honkeys. oddly enough even after we stopped other countries continued. you want to hear about some fucked up slavery, look into mainly Frances sugarcane production. which arguably lasted into the very early 1900's.

On a surprising segway, I got to say for as much as I am in the "Get fucked Disney" camp their new robot is rather interesting not mechanically but software wise whatever they have emulating expressions is pretty impressive, I can see old people buying these things just for the company. Also, I like to add the association between genocide and Indians is a gross association. Now if you want to associate the two because of disease aka smallpox blankets then sure be my guest but even thinking about it sounds silly the europeans doing biological warfare in the 1500s. Another thing the history books don't mention are the numerous trade agreements between Indians and Europeans for land and this concept of stolen land is wrongly labeled and should be more of an issue associated with the cultural difference of land ownership between Europeans and Indians. Indians view the earth as a living thing therefore one cannot own land but one can live in it, europeans on the other hand view land as a god-given right to be cultivated.
