It's not just him. A lot of people don't post in chat anymore. dave_s, ejtnt, horatio and a few others have slowly stopped coming with all the thread deletions. Not that the chat/off topic forums were super active(hasn't been in years), but its somehow even slower haha. But I guess thats what marcos wanted.

I am with st_dragn_wagen on this week being shit.

For me the week hasn't been shit, but it hasn't been great either. Just meh.

So far today has been the highlight of the week fishing and driving some of my rc boats

i just had the highlight of my week as well. mowed and bug sprayed the backyard. mix that with having pressure washed the patio and patio furniture a couple weeks ago and my backyard isn't a bad place to be right now. also watching the 24 Hours of Le Mans on Motor Trend.
tomorrow will be better though. it'll be the first "hot" day of the year (low to mid 80's) but im going to Bug In 48 at the Irwindale Speedway. drag racing, car show, swap meet, venters, all VW's from the time i get there (about 8am) until they're done for the day (usually about 3- 3:30pm) and no freakin shade!

Nice. I recently got into RC boats a year ago through a buddy of mine. I have a udi arrow and proboat impulse 32. Both V hulls. V hull boats are a bit more beginner friendly in choppy water than other hull shapes. Just a heads up if you get a boat dragn wagen.

iv got a Nikko Jet Tornado boat iv run in a few pools way back when. it uses a standard 540 silver can motor. i actually put a new motor in it not that long ago. iv been wanting to swap it over to hobby grade electrics. but it fills with water and i keep not looking in to a bilge pump.
Dumas has a Chris Craft iv been eyeing for years. there was also a tug boat i was looking at a few years ago (can't remember who made it and i can't seem to find now). there are a couple ponds in a parks by my house that allow sail boats but idk about motorized stuff. iv been told speed boats are off limits. but idk if i could get away with a slower mellow cruiser so iv never bothered to look into boats any further.

your best bet is the tug boat or the Chris craft depending how on how slow of a motor you put in it. With sailboats, I would imagine you would get bored very quickly and with speed boats, you'll constantly want to go full throttle and be bored when it's not at full throttle. robbe and graupner used to make pretty cool tug boat kit
