in high school shop class we built boats that were about 14" long. one year it was sail boats the next year it was motor boats. i thought it would be cool to build a bigger one, about 20", make it look like a sail boat but put a motor in it still kicking that idea around (as if i didn't already have enough projects) put a Tamiya Sport Tuned motor in it so it'll be fast but not to fast. i was figuring my Nikko might hit 10mph, so my "sail boat" with a sport tuned motor might hit 12 - 15 depending on the prop.

I never experienced what a powered sailboat would feel like but I know regular rc sailboats have a huge tilt angle

it wouldn't be a sail boat. it would be a motor boat with a sail for esthetics only.

will it have a keel? There used to be a company that used to make aluminum rc boat hull but I think they are out of business that would be pretty cool

idk, if wind caught the sail it might need a keel. that's one of those things that would probably require some R&D.

im not even surprised by that. CA is literally an insane asylum that's appointed it's craziest as leaders. plus we have a major police shortage and the insane policies of those batshit crazy leaders are starting to effect them personally so yeah... something has to be done. and sense bad ideas are all they've got, bam, illegals as cops!

we have a shortage of cops.
we have a shitload of illegals that we don't know what to do with.
they want the illegals and refuse to even acknowledge they are illegal.
so let the illegals be cops and problem solved.
