this place is public if you look up communities/social groups you can find it pretty easy. it also shows up in your profile, so when people check that they can see it. which is about all the exposure it needs. it prevents the rats, snowflakes, do gooders, and the rest of the less desirables from coming here, not liking/agreeing with what we talk about and ether snitching to anyone who will listen, or trying to talk about it in the off topic or basement threads thus advertising this place exists causing unwanted attention. i consider this a a speakeasy. speakeasy's don't advertise.

I'm actually not sure what Marcos is politically. For what its worth, while I consider myself just left of center, Marcos did almost ban me too when we were discussing the fire in Hawaii. He told me he was close to banning me with you. Why he didn't though, he didn't say.

That said, I doubt Marcos is a liberal being a cop. Most law enforcement I know lean right. Some of them are low key down with white supremacy/neo nazi groups. But I'm also in the south.

Was not aware that it can been seen and attended by people that were not invited. Up top, it shows who is invited. Interesting.

I know a few cops that are democrat. Only one still supports the current president and all the crap that is going on. However, they still vote democrat, even though all but one hates what's going on. I also know a couple more that switched to vote for independents and another that switched to voting for republicans.

I just went and checked for private rooms in member's accounts. That crazy that you can see them. I'm sure Marcos has been in here, so I'm sure he knows how we all feel about him now. Maybe that's why he's getting harder on the open chat room. He knows he can control that one easier. He might get a lot of flak if he deleted a private changed room.

Didn't know the group wasn't private. But as long as they don't know what its called, they probably won't find it. Its mixed in among tons of other groups usershave made.

Just checked. I looked at your profile offroad, and you can see all the groups a user is in. As the creator, I don't know if st_drgn has the ability to make viewing it private.

I'm sure nosey people will want to click on groups to find out what is being said. I'm she they popped in, read a couple pages, freaked out, then left. I can see how they would do something like that. I can see Fyer, Billy, and Waitwut doing that crap. Then they would run to Marcos and let him know.

Ok. I found some what a work around. You can't make groups private, but in your profiles privacy settings you can hide the social groups you belong to and it won't display in your profile if someone views it. If we all did that, it would obscure the tavern from anyone viewing are profile.

Basically any outsider wanting to snoop here would have to search a little harder to find it. But at least they wouldn't have a direct link from our user profile.
