If anybody is looking for a radio, I am selling my M11 with 2 receivers. Comes with the original box, manuals, etc. It's in nice shape, never dropped. Send me a PM.

Could someone do me a favor?

I bought some gears to bring my fdr down and I had some fitment problems (they need to touch to work right?). Now I'm having a hard time trying to find dimensions for various spur gears so that I won't make the same mistake again.

The 48p 87t spur that came with my kit is 47.5 mm in diameter. The 69t spur I bought (yeah, I'm a mowron...) is 37.5 mm in diameter.

Can I assume that a 78t spur (right between) would be 42.5 mm in diameter?

Would someone mind measuring a couple spur gears for me? (48p is what I'm looking at now)

Thanks!

One more thing.

What is a competitive lap time down there? Any class.

Lap record?

Got my parts in Thursday morning and took it down there that afternoon. Made some clean (aka slow) laps and was wondering how many laps I'd be down at the end of a race.

Generally speaking, that is a pretty small 48p spur... and yes.. when you go with the extremes in size of spurs you can run into fitment issues. I would be wiling to bet the 78 will work. It is not a bad idea.. to buy all the spurs from the biggest to smallest to keep in your box. Once you figure out what works to get your FDR, and actually fits, then order a few more of that one. The tc5 - tc6 thread would prolly have the exact info your looking for, jsut ask the gearing that people are running for blinky 17.5 and that will get you good answer.

When the track is good, in the mid to low 15's for both stock and mod. I think a couple of high 14's were hit in mod at the state race.

cvloop.... I would think that a more realistic expectation would be in the 17-18 second range. While TJ quoted some competetive laptimes,The bulk of the RCGT field will be a little bit slower.
