Default Village Raceway in Royal Palm Beach

Just starting a thread for the new on road track in Palm Beach County. We are gettting close to the start of organized racing at the new track. MDI Racing will be providing the race program on Saturday afternoon's starting in late summer. We have been practicing on Wed nights, and will continue to do so. The track is 140x70, ultra smooth surface prepped with VHT. We will have power and covered pitting for about 30 racers. We wil be racing Electric and Nitro TC Pan cars. NO 235 or 1/8, track is not big enough and the barriers cannot take that abuse.

If anyone has questions about the track, please feel free to call me 561-312-9008.

We have been getting a progressively larger group each week ! Much more information and pictures to follow.

Check out the blog for the freshest info... http://villageraceway.blogspot.com/

Here is a Pic, thanks to Jarrod Pilone for shooting it. BTW, the track really is in it's first stages, and there is alot more to come, but what a great start so far....

Yep, it will be the track for the last FSEARA race of 2005. There is parking for 100 cars, we have an area setup for tents, fit 20 or so tents. We will have some power in the tent area too. I will post some more pics as we finish the build out.

I just wanted to say thank you for everyones patience while we get things organized. And thank you to TQ for swaping state race dates with me as well as FSEARA for working it all out. Special thanks to Tim for without his hard work, this track would not exist. I look forward to many good races and hope to see you all soon. As always, thank you for your continued support.

Thanks Pete, back atcha.... Looking forward to your on-road facility. I am sure it is gonna be top notch ! I would estimate we will be racing sometime in August.... Nice thing, are the lights. It is like daylight on the track. If you dont pay attention, you never notice it gets dark out... and during the summer they are on a couple nights a week...

Thanks to everyone that came out last night. The drivers stand should be completed today/tomrrow. Next up are the Pit Tables and additional power. I think we are going to try and get some power run around to the driver stand side, maybe we can add a fan or something up there to cool the hot summer days.

Thanks to Dobbs for helping with the railing yesterday.
