Hi. My Evo 7 has just destroyed the rear diff internal gears. Please advise part number for the hop up metal replacement set. Oh, has anyone else suffered a similar failure.

TB04 steel diff gears 54540.

In my opinion plastic is ok with 21.5t or 17.5t motor. Everything above steel gears are more durable. But diff weight and with this rotating mass will increase.

Love this car right out of the box. I disagree that it needs work to make it competitive with other cars. Now granted I run it in USGT. I am not a touring car guy. I debuted this car last weekend at a race on loose carpet. Car was very stable. Car is set up rear motor with the long shaft and I am running my shocks in and in all the way around. Currently running Tamiya VG #45 oil but I want to try 30. Rest of the car is kit set up. I also ran a Tamiya Raikiri GT body. Diff I used the kit fluid. Car was super quiet and no sounds coming from the diff. Very smooth under braking. And I am using a Motiv MC2 21.5 which I feel is one of the fastest 21.5s out there. The race was held at RC Kinetics in Troy NY on a loose style carpet. I was able to TQ and win first time out. I am going to be running a points series race at my home track of 360 in New Rochelle NY on Sunday on the super high bite black carpet. I feel Tamiya makes a great product and this car is no different. I was running a TA07 in USGT before this and I think that car is also a fantastic car especially for the price. I have made a few A mains at 360 during their points series races. And I feel that 360 is one of if not the most competitive track in the US. I will post again after the race on Sunday. Once again I think its a great car. Granted I do like a lot of the cars coming from Tamiya and I race TCS so that's another reason why I got it. But I think its a great car and highly competitive.

I drove the TB07 the first time today, it dives nice but is not as fast as an Xray T4 2018, i lost 0,2 Sek. I think the car ist to stiff, did somebody know where i can buy a Graphite Chassis for the Car?

No official graphite chassis plate at the moment.

Had contact to a Hong Kong guy, who made a small batch for himself but it never came to a deal.

Car is definitely too heavy out of the box.

In Germany it would Cost 50-60 € to get a Graphite Chassis, but you Need a CAD File.

Hello guys. So I ran the EVO 7 in USGT on black carpet for the first time and again I was super impressed. My last race I was at was loose carpet so I did not run sway bars but I added them for the black carpet because the car was leaning too much. Sway bars eliminated that. The car was again was nice and quick and easy to drive. Very responsive going in and out of the corners. I was able to qualify mid B which I was very pleased with. Overall I think its a fantastic car. Yes it is heavy and do I think it is as good a car as the A800 or the 18 XRay. Its very hard to say. I think in a top level drivers' hands it can be just as quick. I picked it up because its different and I like Tamiya Vehicles. Do I think the A800 and the 18 are great cars. Absolutely. The 2 best cars on the market out there at this time. I also think that the EVO 7 is another competitive option that is available if you choose to do so. I think what we are seeing right now in the on road world is very positive. And I like that you can pretty much pick a manufacture and stick with it. So I may try some different things and I will post again.
