I'm getting my friends 4x when he gets the evo next month, is there anything yall would suggest I get for this car? Any weak points? Any necessary aftermarket parts you'd suggest? Can't wait to get it, I'll probably just take it apart to put it back together again, digging the engineering that's gone into this car. Thanks in advance

How can we know? We have never seen the evo car in details...

The Project 4x is on sale at rcmart for $479.90 - I'm extremely tempted - almost clicked the divorce button multiple times over the weekend.

Oh I know but for that price... looks as though the EVO mostly just uses the option parts - nothing critical new in EVO?

I mean non-Evo was good enough for third at the worlds so I'm sure in stock form it would make a competitive VTA chassis.

Imo the vertical top deck is not as important compared to the linear link extensions. I’d just buy those and see how you go.
