Any parts one should buy with the chassis? Springs, arms, etc...?

My driving skill is intermediate. Collide with pipes once in a while.

So I have 2 issues I need to get sorted out. My heave dampers seem to have air in them that I can't seem to get out. I've built the dampers stock, with x-rings instead of o-rings, with and with out green slime....and I still have a little air in the dampers. Anybody got any solutions?

2nd issue is the ball ends, they are very brittle. Seems like each time I build this car I crack one. Possibly my fault......but just in case it's not anybody have this issue? Any solutions, short of using another brand of ball ends?

Hey Teach,

The plastic shock caps need to be real tight. I also let the dampers sit for a while to air out the bubbles. Green slime and HPI #6820 silicone o rings and it works great.

I haven't broke a ball end yet but I do have to use pliers to snap them on as they are such a hard plastic. Haven't tried any other ball ends yet but I'll see what I can figure out today.

I know what you mean about the dampeners. I have gone thru them so many times and they will be good for a night but when it sits for a few days it seems to develop air in them and its frustrating. I feel the dampeners are almost too small and need a slightly larger bore and also a way to have a bleed screw.
