You could probably drag a brick behind your ta04 and still be faster than a TT01! lol

Interested to hear you driving impressions. I have been less than impressed with mine so far.
I just used the tape cause i don't like the battery holder and it saves some weight.
TA07 is a very heavy car, to compansate the heavy weight i will update the car with lightweight parts.
Alu screws and diff outdrives etc will be added

I initially used tape to mount the battery pack to save weight but switched to the battery holder which is really fast and easy to use - great on hectic race nights. I think it also has less effect on chassis flex than using tape - especially if you leave the mounting screws loose.

Not trying to be a pain, but do you happen to have part numbers for these items? Don't want to buy the wrong parts.

Had my first shake down today and what a blast to drive, the car carries a lot of corner speed.
I was 0.6seconds faster then with my Spec-R S2 and only 0.3seconds slower then other high end cars that also run a 10.5T motor (FDR 5.4) while i was just running a 17.5T motor (FDR 5.3).
When i get the weight down to a normal competitive level, clean those bearings and do some more setup work i think i could easily go as fast as the other guys if not faster.
All in all it was a very nice start and the car has a lot of potential.

Now off to bed

I've seen the report on RED RC that the one way, servo mount and motor mounts are available? Can anyone confirm that they are in the Asian markets?

I ordered my motor mounts and servo mounts from StellaModels in HK and they should be here today. Took about a week.

For those who are seeking the lowest weight for their TA07, there is a low profile 5000mAh Li-Po battery from Arrowmax and the weight is just 249gr.
For those who think that's still to heavy they also have a low profile 4000mAh Li-Po battery available with a very low weight of 226gr.
