I was running a 96\54 for a 3.29 with the 20t pulley when I was running the 18 tooth pulley I was running a 88/55 for a 3.28...... I was trying to keep my ratio close to the top dog at the track but what I noticed was my motor temps were higher with the 18 tooth and I lost the ability to pull mid-corner on the competition with the 20 tooth but overall lap times were faster what do you think you seem to be well-versed in this thanks...
btw I had to shave 1 mm off the forward (part # a15 )motor plate mount to get the pinion to clear.

If so, did you notice any benefit?
I just ordered the gear diff case. I think, i will have it in mail end of the week. The pulley I have already installed half year ago in my cars (419 & TA07). The first thing i saw with the pulley, that the oil leaking issue is gone.

I ordered 3 sets from RCJaz, hopefully they will be shipped in a reasonable amount of time. They seem to drag.

It'll be interesting to see how much weight these aluminum diff pieces add and how it affects the car...... please share when you test.

Thanks,
Jose

Here is a quick build overview. Using the diff in my 419XR first, TA07 will follow later...

Original weight with plastic housing and aluminium pulley. Oil: 1.4g, using big shim set, red o-ring, aluminium axles, plastic gears and ball bearings instead of bushings. Unfortunately i have no full plastic diff to compare...

The new aluminium diff housing...

The aluminium diff housing holds more oil. Finally i put 1.8g in it...

Work of art...

Weight of full aluminium diff...

Now the left and right belt guides have same height...

Laser markings...
team green and G-rem like this.

My stock diff weighs 21 grams... no aluminum pulley or case. I think I’ll start with the aluminum case and see how it feels, accceleration-wise. Just waiting for them to land here.
