25/55 is WAY to high a gear ratio for an 11T motor, you should be running something closer to the kit gears (19/61) with it.

Also, the TT-01 motor mount is a bit loose which means that high powered motors will vibrate a lot and generate a lot of heat around that whole area.

Best to stick to a silver can or Sport Tuned if you want the TT-01 transmission to last.

Oh yea dude. Was bored with the road worthiness of the TT01. so might as well Rally tune it and buggy and what the heck..make a MT out of it.. have to gear real low though.

Yea. that's what i figured...so had to mesh them closer. right now, i've gone back to the stock motor (silver can)..i guess i'll need to gear it real low 19/61. the high gearing is causing the motor to get real hot..and really fast too.

my kit was really blitzing... wait till i put in my MM5700.. might just crack the whole chassis...my rally bashin chassis already has some slightly deformed motor mount parts...might be modding it...hmmm..what can i do now....

Thanks for the info too folks!

According to the manual (available online) you'll need 12mm for the steering link and 18mm for the front and rear upper arms. But I would suggest not getting these alloy turnbuckles as they break too easy (as mentioned before). Btw, the TT01-R doesn't have turnbuckles as steering link.

Want to know, will the TA05's CF battery strap fit on a TT-01?

The gearing you mentioned seems too long for an 11T, so this is why your cables desoldered. Probably your plastic motor mount melted or deformed at least and this killed the gears (improper gear mesh). The shaft you see in the picture is from the TT-R (cup and shaft is one piece).

Body has to be touring car from the real German touring car series (DTM), Motor is the Carson Cup Machine (about 8$), tires are Type A from Tamiya (53433).

We also used the chassis during the 24HR race at the track in Sinzig. Last year we reached a distance of 497 miles (winning team did 546 miles).

Here's some information about the TT-01R
http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=58348

It has oil filled dampers, ball bearings, adjustable upper arms, metal dogbones, metal outdrives, metal axles, aluminium center shaft.

Impressive TT-01 there.

Can I ask who makes those front knuckles you are using? also the upper suspension mounts also? because they are almost exactly the same blue and the tamiya blue.
