Ok...any sympathy I had for the $$ situation in Australia is now over...

Just checked in at the Xray forum where you were gloating about the kits having been in Australia since last Friday while we are still waiting for them in the US and Canada!!

I'll be checking with the distributors here later on this morning...surely thekits can't be far away now....

The Barbarian,

9 AU dollars for a pair of Pro 4 arms? Thats pretty good, we pay £9 over in the UK which is 21 AU Dollars.
The T2 price that you quoted is £15 (35 AU) cheaper then in the UK.

You don't get it that bad in Australia.

I haven't taken one apart yet, but I still have the new front one that hasn't been run. I'll take a look at it tonight. Judging from the one I have in the rear though, all is A ok!

They are. Here is the spec:

I believe I remembered one of our team drivers saying the same. I'll try my 'ol 05's strap on the T2 tonight to make sure.

Default Taping in the batteries?

I've never had a car in which I had to tape in the batteries. What kind of tape do you use? Is this really necessary, it sounds sort of archaic.

Ahhh the joys of tape....1/3 of mine ends up never used in the trash as I suck at putting in on.

Speedtechrc.com carry some in racers corner by xenon racing.

Or just use strapping tape from home depot.

I dont mind taping in the packs, my tape seems to last a couple weeks of racing, barring any really big hits... maybe this is a difference in how you tape in the cells... i am using two pieces, with each one secured to the chassis and overlapping like a strap.....

How do they know they are getting one from the 1st shipment? This auction started before rcamerica let hobby stores know.

That's a joke....he's selling a kit he doesn't even have yet!

No thank you....I'll wait and support local legitimate businesses.

The tape we carry is from Xenon Racing Japan, and if it is used right, you can get away with using the same strip all race day (unless the track is very dirty and the dust collect on the tape) the tape is fiber glass tape with a thicker coating on the outside (which also gives it color of black, blue, purple or pink) and the extra coating is what makes it much durable than just fiberglass tape.

When using this tape, we also recommend filing the tape slot on the chassis at 45 degrees where the tape come in contact with the chassis. This will reduce the chances of the tape ripping apart due to contact with the ground and the original 90 degrees angle on the tape slot
