Sorry missed the diffuser question above. It was for the original F1 car. It helps extract air from under the rear pod. On a real car it adds about 30-40% of total downforce. It aids the scale car but not q as dramatic as a full size car.

Sorry I did not catch the sig. For most part yes it is a re-release. The front of the car is the main departure from the original but if you remove the spacer it will return the geometry to the original configuration. Steering knuckles are different also.

Hold on F1fan, MLP is already coming out with a conversion to put the 103GT back as an F1 and use the 201's wheels and tires! Now that's a neat idea. We are waiting for someone here to jump on it before the F1 tour ends here to see how it works. That could be a purchase I may have to make soon.
