Hi Guys,
I got one of these EVOIII myself (I've yet to have time to build it though), and as soon as some spare parts are available, we'll have them on our website Looks like most of the parts will be available soon.

smash123, check the following shop, this is where I'm getting my setup board, tools, and TB Evo 3 from.
I unfortunately forgot that they were not shipping between the 28th and the 6th, and ordered on the 27th, meaning I fall into their no dispatch period.....what a pain in the butt!!

Ok here is what i have discovered.
1. Stick to 64 pitch gears (0.4 module is the same), you will not fit bigger than the supplied 96 spur gear onto the car, 112 and up appear to be too big. This calculation is based on 64mm tire/wheel diameter.
(there is no chance of fitting 86 or 90 tooth 48 pitch gears they are too big, anything smaller is not suitable). 81 may fit??? i did not have one handy.
2. A good starting ratio for a 9 turn would be 23 - 24mm roll out. This would involve using a 96 spur with a 29 pinion, i have set my car up with this combo...so we know it fits.
This is the starting ratio i use for most race meets (depending on track), i use this ratio with my 414 and Corally C4.1.
I would normally end up gearing up taller...but the above mentioned ratio is a good starting point. I's also recommend sticking with 64 pitch as the gears appear smoother and the car is quieter.
If you want a copy of my rollout chart for the 414 or TB Evo grab it via this link... (right click the link and choose "save target as")

An 81t 48p spur will be out of the question since it is bigger than the 96t 0.4 kit spur. My guess is that you will need something in the 65 to 70t range for a 48p spur.
black-knight: How heavy is your car with all the electronics minus the body? I'm sitting at 1435g at the moment. About 25g heavier than my 414m2 but still pretty good as far as Evos go At least I won't have to worry about being underweight

so what would be a good ratio/combo for stock racing? with a P2K or a Core or a Revenge of the Monster?
48P gears and pinions, cuz I hate it when i get a pebble stuck in the 64P and the whole spur just disappears.
I have a 48Pitch asso. 72T spur with a 28T pinion on the side...would that be okay?

Aluma, if it is a pretty large track then yes.
If the track is medium or small, then use a smaller pinion!!!
Good luck.

I tend to run my Core at 5.6 - 5.8 on a track with a very long straight. The motor does get hot but I'm gearing just to keep up with the rest of the field who use insane gearing.
