Running a 410r in my tc7. Got a chance to recalibrate the radio. And no matter what it won't blink 3 times indicating full brake has been set. It lets you set the first 2 settings but wont let you set the third step. So I ran it without brake. Any ideas?

I figured it out. There's a setting on my radio that lets me adjust brake strength. It was set at 0 meaning no brake at all. I turned it back up and had brake again. Nothing wrong with ESC at all. Yahoo!

So when you say bearing caps you mean the upper bulkhead pieces the shock towers mount to? In reference to these-these are a new item that are not the same as the ones in the TC7 kit?

your still about 35% of what a new kit would cost. If you do the upgrade.

smj 2.5-2.7 front, xray 2.6 rear was the most common at IIC which was pretty low traction for black, should be good for real crc grey.

Ok I have my parts ordered for the 7.1 update. I did order the aluminum chassis. I will try the stock 7 first for my USGT set-up, then the aluminum to see if there is any advantage. Will keep you guys posted.

if I may ask....why would you run the Xray springs or Yoko springs unless its something you already had in your parts box?....Ive been running the AE springs on my 7's and 7.1's...and they work really well imo....even the (blue) kit springs....

is it some advantage?...if so please share

SMJ is another brand, rcmart sell them, they are a progressive spring that is a touch harder than the xray 2.7
