Redrc did confirm the new roar 1350g minimum weight... Double check that. You might be missing out ....
You are the biggest bench warmer i have ever met on the internet .
Until u show up to race night its all for crap my 4 year old could probably put u half a lap down with his m05 chassis stop typing on the tc7 thread about a dinasour car with more money in it than your broken 1.1 car and prove everyone wrong.

I have a saying
(Just shut and race) and prove them wrong

We should stop adding fuel to the fire and ignore Bert otherwise his shenanigans will continue. Im guilty of it too but i feel this thread had lost its way.

So lets keep this thread on track with TC7 and TC7.1 related posts.

boy ever have not just a bad day racing but a TERRIBLE day racing. Everything that could go wrong did LOL. Setup wrong, broke stuff, car handled crappy etc etc.

I know I need to take everything apart and go thru it and put Cav's roar setup on it then I'll be good.

on the other hand both of my cars did very well today...setup was on point, and even set my best in USVTA with a hot lap of 11.3!!!!...my cars are basic setup from the build with aluminum AE chassis, and 0 deg in the front and -.5 deg in the rear. Traction is insane at Thunder, even after the Nationals a few weeks ago....My USGT car was very smooth and as a driver, it was enjoyable to control...loving these cars

also tested my Mod car for the 1st time and man oh man...what a difference...running Keven 7.1 setup, and car was pretty good...driver not so...plus new to mod/boosted and fried my motor...lol...but still good learning on the day

Question - I am running a 7.1 in USGT. Do the 17.5 chassis setup work well as a starting point or do you generally run different setups in USGT due to the tires? The USGT tires seem to lack steering. Thanks in advance!

My 17.5 and USGT setups are the same. .5 deg camber is usually the only thing different.

I haven't had a chance to troubleshoot it. But I have a 410r in my tc7 running 17.5 and in second qualifier the brakes went out. The blinky lite is blinking and it shows full throttle but the brake lite does not come on red.
Do you think the ESC just needs to be recalibrated or could I have blown the brake side of the ESC?

Set all your end points back to regular on your radio. Then re-calibrate your speed control. That would be the first thing a try. Think of it as you're doing a reboot. If that doesn't work then of course send it in for repair.

It would be super rare to blow out the brakes on an ESC. If you dial the dual rate down from 100 the red light will not come on as you no longer are using 100%.

Yes try re-calibrating then see what happens.

Something fairly close to the kit setup is what I'm going to be there with for the az champs race this weekend, see you there. I'll be under the black ActivRC tent.
