I've got SMC "Factory Spec" 6000 MAH batteries I got late 2014; I did ZERO driving in 2015 so they are still fresh.

The car arrived today!

As promised I've taken an unboxing video! I apologize for the quality, it was with my cell phone- I usually take these with my SLR on a tripod but I got the car delivered to the office and didn't want to wait!

The video really does start with the box factory sealed. I didn't sneak a peak first. I apologize for saying "hardware" when I should have said "tools."

Hopefully this helps answer "what's in the box!" for folks looking at getting this car.

I will take another video later at home when everything is organized that shows a better "what exactly is in the box" for everyone to view.

The video is roughly 3 minutes in length:

Question: do I still need to sand and glue the carbon fiber like back in the day with this kit? No build guide I've seen states to do so, just curious what you all think.

Mine is "out for delivery", I will not be doing video, I will however be tearing the box open like a five year old on Christmas day ! when it arrives.

Better video can be found here-

I actually won't have time to build the car any time soon. Getting married in July and a lot of weekends between now and then are dedicated to getting all that planned and so on.

So any thoughts on this- do I still need to sand and glue the carbon fiber like back in the day with this kit? No build guide I've seen states to do so, just curious what you all think.

I think I will glue the edge just to be safe.

Thank you- I'm now looking at gluing but I may also sand first; like I said I've got plenty of time and I'm in NO RUSH to build; I know that seems silly to most of y'all!

Do the TC7 body post positions match the TC6.2 post positions?

Got mine built, really like how it all went together, have one small problem one of the 2.5×10 screws that hold the drive cups to the spool is only 2.5×5.

That's what I'm afraid of is missing hardware. Not just this car but any kit.

Well took a second video showing all the bags laying out which again may be good reference. This way I know what I had when I start building

Don't adjust your sound- there is NO sound in this video

Sounds like that would be for the gear diff. If you still haven't located the screw, give AE customer service a call on Monday and they will send it right out!

Thanks, I will. It's actually the screw that holds the drive cup to the spool.
