the tc7.2 is on the associated web site for $520. When can we actually buy one?

Default Tc7

Hi guys,
Is the performance of the TC7 much lower than the TC7.1?

I am kind of shocked AE did not go to a bearing mounted sway bar system. I wonder what the deterrent was? Additional weight? Cost of material machining?

I actually find the TC7 to have slightly more overall grip compared to the 7.1. Both cars are completely capable in the right hands.

Except for the lack of bearing supported ARB's, the 7.2 looks perfect - even the cosmetics are better with the mostly black anodizing. If I needed another TC it would be hard not to pick the 7.2

Looks to me like the lower bulkheads are carried over from the 7/7.1 but anodized black. It would have required a new design for the bearing mounted system and likely new sway bars too. I actually like the current sway bar system, so not having that updated isn't a deal breaker for me.

It's only the towers and longer shocks that are different other than the optional bits that the 7.1 came with and the 7 didn't.

I'm not sure there would have been much if any performance gain from doing so especially when you take into account the extra weight up high with the bearing design. It would have cost Associated more money to design and engineer, which most likely would have increased the selling price as well as put the release of the car back considerably.
