I built a 10r5 with dampening tubes. I ordered the chassis from stormerhobbie for 36.00. And basically ordered everything I needed off ebay. The car worked well enough to compete. But do your self a huge favor and buy the new crc gen X 10rt. You will be so much happier with the performance. I'm now using my 10r5 for foam tire racing.

Trying to decide between the new CRC or SpeedMerchant WGT-R rides.

Anyone have opinions about either or comparison?

Leaning towards the SpeedMerchant only because I already own a RoadKill10.

Because the class is basically using the same tire I am thinking about getting into it. Without having to page through all the threads. Is ride height the main reason to go with a dedicated gtr chassis?
I would like to stick with Roche (because I know where product ).
Anyone here successfully convert a p10?
