Like the other guy said contact dischargerc.com. He runs this car in USGT as well. He is a great racer and great ambassador for our hobby.....

I race this car in a 21.5 touring car class and I am extremely happy with the car. A buddy of mine and I finished first and second in this class at a State Race a couple of weeks ago with this car. My car is easy to drive.....and I am not a pro racer.....

Feel free to ask questions....

I have been trying to nail down a chassis and the MTS really caught my eye...but I am just worried about setup because the nearest track is dominated by Xray's...so I just mainly wanted to know if it was a beginner friendly platform...

There are a lot of things that I like about this car. First, it is easy to drive. I find the diff to be great. The quality is very good. I also like that it was pre-built. I ran it for three races before I changed the diff and shock oil. In my opinion you do not need any upgrades to be very competitive.

Will you be racing on asphalt or carpet?

What ive found with this car is alot of the xray setups seem to cross over pretty well. I put a setup from my favorite xray driver on the car and made a couple changes to suit my driving style and the car was pretty good. Aluminum chassis is a must imo if running on the crc black carpet and the lightest electronics and motor to try to get down on weight. Other than that the car is just as good as any other car out there .

MTS is a great car. I have 2 t^2, and 1 fwd. They are easy to setup, and take adjustments easily.i won 21.5 tc in state series race. The car is a little heavy. Dischargerc.com has great support. Has a team of drivers that are willing to help, including myself.

Mine only required 30 minutes checking over before racing at the Reedy Race

So what's the lowest weight you guys are getting with the aluminum chassis, mine is heavy with a Reedy 7400 pack, LRP Flow, Sanwa receiver, and Orca motor.

If anyone is looking (or knows someone who is) I have an MTS T2 for sale with some options (aluminum chassis, floating steering and lots of springs):

I decided I still don't like touring cars and I'm gonna stick with 12th scale and dirt oval.

Hi all, just got the MTS-T2. Looking for some advice on gearing. As I have a full set of 48p Pinions I opted to grab a 82t, 84t and 87t 48p Spurs (rather than having to invest in 64p pinions for now).

Planning to run Mod class with a Hobbywing V10 4.5t/XR10 160a on a mid to large out door asphalt track with a mildly technical infield. Wondering what people experienced with the chassis would suggest as a good starting point with the FDR? (Chart attached with the Ratios I can get with what I have on hand according to gearmachine)

Also if anyone has a setup sheet they wouldn't mind sharing for such a track?

Really looking forward to running the car this year, so far im pretty happy with the build, few little mods have tightened up the front end quiet well.

One other question has anyone run the variable rate springs from Race Opt. on this car?

Thanks!

Hey guys, simple idea thought I would share. Was not keen on the blunt end of some screws being the first point of contact with my batteries in the case of user error lol. Also shimmed up the rear 3mm and front 1mm. Battery is 100% not going anywhere.
