In this product, you have 2 options, complete conversion or complete kit. The conversion comes without tubes, diff, shock, linkages for the sides and the steering.

Both of them include the RSD Front end.
Christian

Is the aluminum chassis included with this conversion drilled for the old school Associated front end also or do you have to use the RSD front end?

It is not drilled for an old school front end. It has holes for the current AE front end or our own double a arm front suspension.

So I have the 12r5.1 front arms those should work then if I choose to use them? Also in the pic of conversion kit I don't see any of the double a arm front end parts. Can you post a link to the online manual please

Yes, you can use the AE 12R5 front end parts. You may be looking at the wrong conversion if you are not seeing the front end parts. The full T2 conversion kit is part no RR12T2. The 12R5/ RR12V2 conversion is part no: RSD1231 and it does not include the RSD Front end.

How much is the front end separately, as I already have the t2 conversion (minus front end)?

Front end is roughly $80.00 retail. If you need one, you can email me directly at the store.

I had a chance to see this car in person at our local track; it is one sweet looking ride. Oh, and it's fast too. Nice work Cristian.

The 2016 Winter On-road Series at the Banana!
Classes:
17.5 12th Scale
USGT
17.5 Sedan
Mod Sedan
25.5 F1
Nas class

Dates:
November 5th
November 12th
November 19th
November 26th
December 3rd
December 10th
December 17th

I attended 1st race yesterday 17.5/12th.
RR12T2 was pretty nice performance.
This car, I thought, is not neccesally rubber tyre, such as BSR controlled.
Tyre wear was flat also. I could use same tyre 5 packs(P1+Q3F1) from F41.0mm R41.5 to F40.3mm R40.9mm. After race, tyre surface keep flat.
Wheel: Yokomo/ Yellow

Cristian's Innovation, motor cooling fun, had well performance. Motor Temp approximately same each round, 43.4-44.3Centigrade.

I have never tested BSR tyre so far, but comparing CRC lilac, form tyre is not bad. Forward traction on form tyre was better than rubber. Steering was little bit nasty; first 2mini requires careful drive, last 2mini less initial response.

The only bad is upper arm. I have used Asso arm. This arm should exchange routinely.
Xenon is better, like as Cristian's T2.

Overall, I felt T2 had little bit advantage compare with others.

ESC: Tekin RS
Battery: Reedy6500(dead during race) or Trion7000(over 200 packs), I have to buy new one.
Motor: TS V3
ratio: 53/76
ride hight: 3.2mm
Steering pretention: 0.8mm(at first, 4mm ride hight with free droop screw, and then adjust 3.2mm)
caster: 1.5/Right, 2.5/Left
camber: R0.3-0.5 L0.5-0.7 (F.E. Q1=R0.5L0.7,,,Q3 or Final=R0.3L0.5)

How you guys change the ride height in the front with the double wishbone front axle?
By the preload of the front spring or by the change of shims on the top and bottom of the steering knuckle?

Regards, Gero

Two droop screws on the front top of the chassis just behind the bumper.

Super easy and quick.

By pre-loading the spring on the A-Arm. Additionally, since most set-ups require very low droop settings, you may need to back up the droop screws to get more ride height.
