Thanks for all the help! Ordered! Time to start obsessively checking the website for aluminum chassis pre-orders!

Thanks Cristian, I'll make that change to the center shock before I hit the track. The new aluminum chassis looks awesome.

And then there were 5! Thanks Mike. You are no.3 on the list.

Chris, my pleasure. As always, it's a preference thing and it depends in how you drive. For a lot of people a softer spring makes the car less aggressive, this is usually true for those that coast a lot. I am an on power driver, so typically the stiffer spring makes the car more stable at speed.

Christian, I noticed on the previous page that you had Contact "J" compound tires on your car. How do they compare to to JFT compound tires?

I had contacts on because I was out of JFTs

The contact is a more open pore tire that shreds a bit as it's running. The glue job is not the greatest, but in the right track conditions they can be just as fast. With the bigger pore, the car stays more on top of the track vs getting into it. They're ok, but they are not very tough.

Only 2 unimounts left, so we got enough for only 2 complete kits left. Amazing! Thanks for your support, this will make it approximately 100 kits sold in 10 months!

I have tried transverse battery position since maiden voyage, Then I am testing 1/4"forward battery position. This means 1/8" forward CG of this car. Approximately, I copy cristian setup, but every run I change and try other set one by one.

You need to cut your own bumper. The AE foam is too narrow now. Some are splicing and extending them. You can take a TC one and shape it to fit.

Yes, our slider pod design carries over from the V1 and allows for wheelbase adjustment by using shims to lengthen up to 3mm at the rear.

On another note, we are sold out of the new batch of cars, which starts shipping at the end of this week/ early next. Next batch will not be until March I think.

There will be several of these at Mile High in April. I will have mine, not that I am fast or anything. But I will have one there as well as a few other drivers.
