Florian just uses a front F or E block in the front that I dremeled a bit out Simmi.
On the alu chassis, I just added some normal 10grams in the center to get the car balanced. It's not as nice as the Tamiya part, but it works :) |
Guys,
Are you placing 0.75mm or 1mm shims (motor mount) when you set torque link / stiffener stick. Per Thercracer link - which descriptions are always great and very useful - suggest 1mm for torque but 0.75 for the stick. Not sure why different shims needed. If i measurer correctly 1mm is the high difference between servo vs motor holder. But not sure... many use the 1mm shim. I think there was just a small difference in the manufacturing tolerance that made me prefer the 0.75mm

Clear, thx

Diff and shocks: look at post 3437 for my hints I use SMJ 2.5-2.7 yellow progressive spring in front and in rear I use SMJ linear Spring blue 2.8 and use 0.5 shim under Bulkhead to change rollcenter nad use alu chassis for any setup look at petitrc.com -pull down @ setup - use setup sheet -tamiya greeting from Vienna HARRY |
They made no mention of the new battery mounts in the prior description and it looks like it is not included in the upgrade pack.
