Thank you Kentech for the spy pic.
The (XRay, Yokomo) Shocks in blue looks good at the TRF

I hope they sill use this shocks.

Congratulate Marc Reinhardt for his first appearance at the ETS convincing

I talked to Marc on the weekend. Tamiya will build all new shocks. They just didn't get them ready for this race. Made a spy pic of Christopher Krapp's ride. He was also running the new car. Anyone want to see?

None of the press guys was really interested in the car. They just took the xxx-time pictures of current X-rays and Yokomos.

Thanks for getting those pictures out buddy!

I see:
New shocks and towers
New upper bulkheads
New motor mount
New bellcranks? (They have material removed from them)
One piece sway bar holder probably going to come stock

Is it just me or is Rheinard's rear diff drenched in oil? Says a lot about the diff design if even pros are running leaky diffs. I don't know if I will get this new TRF, Yokomo and Xray look enticing but we will have to see what Tamiya delivers in the end.

Marc was telling me that all alloy parts are new (except for the suspension blocks) and top deck + shock towers.

Probably running hard alloy and a soft chassis. A departure from their soft alloy and hard chassis setup.

I do not know if anyone is interested, but I have been working on some low profile towers for my TRF419. I and others have found them to be pretty good at providing more corner speed, and better left/right transitions.

Here is a link to an article with more info.

Ha. I read the first part of your post and was going to comment that I see a leaky diff like everybody else's.

Kinda disappointing. All they could really come up with is Xray shocks. All the plastics with problems are the same?!

hmm yeah, at this rate, it's either yokomo or xray, unless the new Tamiya gets more updates than this

Same 'ol front C-hubs and leaky diff. Sigh....

Even Durango is listening more and more to their customers.

Read the article. Awesome work! What are you currently running for X-Gear springs? I really like running silver/silver. I might try pink/pink.

Thanks I am currently using Pink/Pink but I do run on a very tight indoor carpet track. I have only tried the silvers on the rear, not on both. I might try that this week. How do you find them?

Those aren't the finalised items, they were Xray shocks as Tamiya's weren't finalised in time.
