It's pushing, mainly at the corner entry but through the whole corner.

The track is a 300 Meter asphalt Track. In the curves marked green I have the most problems.

Ok Thanks-
First I would make sure I have plenty of steering end point. Full steering lock stops just before touching knuckles and after that try moving front shock to hole 4 and rear shocks to 5.

Is your motor 17.5 or 7.5?

If 17.5 then I would reduce the rear toe by a lot. I am running RF=D RR=F. Makes the rear wider as well for better weight transfer to front tires.

Lastly I would try 1mm spacers under both rear hinge blocks (higher rear roll center). The rear will then have less side bite (less side roll but more front to back weight transfer).

Let us know how it goes. Plenty of things to try still

What C-hubs work should I be looking for to reduce slop and increase strength?

Thanks,

Dave

I currently use the TA05 hubs, but they are a but too flexible. Haven't broken one since swapping. I am going to get a set of the exotek aluminum c-hubs when they are released.

I've tested it and have done some little changes. It's faster, now the rear is a bit light but it feels great and controllable. I'm loving it!

Thanks so far

Great to hear! If the balance feels great then you just adjust tire prep via sauce as needed by way of more or less saucing on the front tires.

The spool and hubs look great. I just placed my order for both. I didn't want to to get greedy, so I only ordered 1 set of hubs. Thanks Mike!

I'm considering getting a TB EVO 6 MS to run VTA on my local carpet track and possibly some outdoor asphalt. Should I even consider the EVO 6 MS to run a 25.5T in the box MS configuration or is the EXO 6 conversion pretty much a necessity to run the high turn spec motors? I was all set to pull the trigger on the TB EVO 6 MS but after reading into it I have concerns about the additional gear box that's needed to run the transverse motor negating the efficiency of the shaft drive power train.

Plan B was to get a TA-07 Pro with some extensive option parts but I liked the fact that the TB was shaft drive and came pretty well equipped out of the box.

I'm a regular off-road driver who is looking to get back into on-road for a change of pace, so I won't be able to push either option to its limit. I just want to make sure I don't choose a chassis that is completely wrong for VTA.
