What class is this for? And whats with that capacity. Take a look I forgot now exactly what it was.

3300 cells can handle a high charge rate.. i wouldnt recomend it every run, but a fewtimes yes.. I have charged at 10-12 amps a few times... mostly from starting a pack late... and the packa re fine..
At the last paved oval nats i was at, i saw some of the faster guys charging there packs with two turbo 30 chargers.. Yes two.. each charger was set at 8 amps, so thats a 16 amp charge.. The purpose for it is up front during the run, you will have rip like you have never seen.. If hara does it one time per pack, i doubt a pack ever exploded.. packs usually explode from continuous beating.. but it is possible

Why would Hara charge at 14+ amps? Wouln't that make finishing a mod race near impossible?

Who knows... But I doubt he'd be able to touch his batteries. So I guess the real question is- How does he get his batteries in his car?
Just because I'm a little curious doesn't mean I'm gonna go straight out and start charging at his amps, using their brand equipment. But drinking the soda he likes does sound like it might make me faster...

I think he was just having a dig
To the original poster, it doesnt particularly matter what charge rate the 'pros' use - it wont make you any faster as a driver.
Your best bet is to learn exactly what different charge rates do for different types of battery and different types of racing - then put this knowledge into practice by coming up with your own battery preperation ritual. You'll be a better racer by understanding it, and this is one of the reasons pro's are pro's - they didnt get to the top by knowing thier rival's charge rate, thats for sure

Hara actually no longer uses the MuchMore CM due to his contractual obligations to orion. Even still, that is the profile he used at the DHI cup with his Cell Master before he switched.
