Xray X1 - Formula One Car

Not as sexy as I was hoping but considering that I skipped the 2016, the sum total updates might make it worth while. I like the increased rear wing height adjustment, the anti-roll bar might allow softer front springs to be used, much easier droop adjustment which I wanted, angled side links, fully compatible - nice. My 2015 X1 is the best RC car I've ever owned (despite the tweak frustration) so this is tempting. Would like to see Associated, Roche 2017 and Schumacher first though.

Any ideas what the components required to convert a '16 to a '17 are? Or is it not worth it?

I always found it more cost effective to sell your old car and purchase the new one. X1 have relatively good resale value.

I set my break end point at 40% and move up as needed. At low speeds you will not have any breaks at all. But at high-speed's you will. If you need more just slightly ramp it up throughout the race or during practice. But you're right, if your brakes are set at 100% and if you lock the wheels while driving the car I will spin out because it's only 2 wheel drive.
well, i´m ordering the X1 2017 to se how it goes. rcamerica has them in about 2-3 weeks.

Hmm, anyone know if the new angled side link positions scan be used with both battery positions or just with the inline?

The 2016 Xray body, and the newest Bitty body are GTG.
The Protoform bodies need a ton of hacking to fit.

Looking for away to eliminate the tape and use a band. Is there anything that is available?
