Default Newest T4'14 Owner

Brenden Newbury (9) won himself a brand new XRay T4'14, courtesy of Ralph Burch of RC America, with a wire to wire Scale Spec B-Main finish at last weekends Timezone Gran Prix Ralph waited until the field was gridded up and then made the announcement, the winner would be getting a new T4'14. You could tell by the looks of the drivers faces that the pressure was on! Brenden isn't one that likes pressure, but with 40+ spectators and the always entertaining Charlie Suangka on the mic, you would have thought the kid was going for the World title! Brenden stayed calm, cool, and collected to run a nearly flawless race with his T3'12. He was so calm that he called out with 45 seconds left "I got this!" After the final tone went off and he finished his final lap with all the fan fare going on, I got to have one of the great father-son moments. He will be building the car himself with my assistance and it will be all his, He earned it

Hey guys,

Been out of the 1/10 scene for a while but a new local race series has really piqued my interest so I got a new addition to the family.

We're running the orca 11.5t motor and I'm limited to an FDR of 6.6 due to limited gear options at the moment. Is this too low for open mod settings?

Am going with the Muchmore Fleta 4 esc. Any suggestions on settings?

This is the track we run on.

Thanks for any info provided

That should be OK if you're careful with your boost settings. Just take it a bit at a time. The brakes might be a bit weak at higher speeds, though.

I also had an issue with my hexes - in short, check your screws. I found that one screw was slightly smaller than the other screws and wouldn't even thread - I also had another one which 'stripped' out. I ended up replacing the hex screws with those from another car I had. No issues since, even with the hex that had originally stripped.

Before topic goes back to hex s . I believe the wider settings r for higher traction situations if it tractionroles and if i cant remove any more toe i would widen my track width
