Congrats again!
I understand where you are coming from, having another car as spares is tempting because you can run for years.
If you need more bite into corners play with front wheelbase, shorten it a bit and try again.

Thanks,
yeah, i've devoted a lot of time to get used to this car and to get it just right. Its finally working very well for me.

Yes, I did shorten the wheelbase a bit and it did give me excellent turning and grip in the corners. The car is really dialed in.

Hey, where do you run your rear shock towers -I am at the 2nd to last hole so that my rear shocks are almost vertical. I just moved them up one more to the outermost hole (rear shock towers). Hoping this will give me even more turn/grip and less push ...thoughts???

I plan to get some practice in so I can see how it works too. ...but just curious where you (and anyone else is at).

Moving the rear shocks out like that should give u more lateral grip on the corner.

My car is dialed ...its doing great. I did change up the rear shock position to the outermost hole. It did give me a tad more grip ...which I already had plenty of. My car handles awesome.

I am now in the process of changing from my Sonic Reedy 17.5 to a 24k Gold 17.5 motor. My Sonic had 3 full seasons on it, ...

Gosh, this car is doing so good and I have a chance of placing in our year end points series that I may continue to use this for next year's season as well. I can't see why I'd start over w/ a new TC.

..interesting that all the other TC cars are now (4 years later) using short shocks like we have on our Hobao's ...

...curious anyone planning to race their H4 in the '17 season?
I may convert my H4 to a VTA car and get a TC7.1 or Xray as my dedicated TC.

I almost bought this car (because its green) but decided not to because of spare parts concerns. Where are you guys getting spare parts?

Yes, Nitrohouse has a ton, and eBay has good deals.
I used mine for the entire 2016 season as my primary 17.5TC car. As for spares, I purchased extras of front C Hubs, CV Joints, Belts and Diff Housing (including gaskets and seals). Those are the only things that every really wear or break. Everything else will last for a long long time.

Still plenty of spares available in the UK from cml.

I'm keeping mine until spares stop.

I still finish in the A final most weeks with my h4 against xrays and the likes so I see no reason to upgrade.

How do you guys set droop? Its confusing on this car as the hubs are lower than the wishbone up front..
