Where exactly did you read that? In some translated Tamiya info it says "suspension arms of same dimensions". But I would not read into that that the length is exactly the same. I don't have the car yet so I cannot check lengths.

Ok I hope that someone that have already the car would do this check for us.
thank you

Hey Martin! Man I would love to but I think probably not next year

Go race TITC instead. It's at Surikarns new track. Plus it's a closer flight for you. I'll be there in late March though.

Just got the car, had a quick check and the arms both front and rear appears to be the same length as the short rev. arms used on the 417.

Rear belt is 189mm, or 63t.

Erm, where did you get it from in europe? Did it come with the extra arms etc?

Cheers

I got the cars as well.

Anyone know what plastic from the 417 will work on the 418? Just don't want to unload my 417s with the parts that I can use on the new cars.

Big Dave 1984 11-29-2013 01:00 PM

So where are you getting these cars ?

If your talking about suspension parts. The suspension set up from the 417 will fit without any problems. But I have no idea if the 417 and 418 parts are interchangeable

Gordie, what size screw does Tamiya use to hold the centre pulley to the bulkheads?

JoeyE 11-30-2013 09:04 PM

When do you think the spare parts will go on sale? Arms, steering hubs, and C hubs. Want to try it on my 417.

Gordie88 11-30-2013 09:38 PM

2.6x8mm

CraigM 12-01-2013 01:39 AM

Marc just won the BIRC at Huge RC in Thailand with the 418 :)
