Aah, i thought the first thing to change should be 416's arms firstly.
Anyway, are carbon reinforced ones break easily to be too much stiff?

Best regards

on asphalt i find the cr-arms too stiff making the car too twitchy... the softer stock arms give more overall traction, imho.

either arm is stiff enough to not break too often... usually its the c-hubs and uprights that break on impact.

Aah, therefore better is keeping all genuine, isn't it?

the stock c-hub and uprights are too soft, on the other hand. they tend to feel inconsistent on the track. that's why i tend to use the stock arms but upgrade the c-hub and uprights to carbon reinforced.

but that's just me... and by no means am i an expert driver. just thought i'd share my $0.02.

I have been running 13.5 and haven't broken a single part with the stock arms on my TB04 pro.

As mentioned above, the kit ones will give more grip than the CF strengthened ones.

Anyway, maybe Tamiya and Xray plastics are totally different, this makes me so confused.

Thanks!

Default what servo and esc for tb-04?

i am looking to start rc racing and wanted to buy a tb-04 to start out with

i have build a wr-02 (suzuky jimmy) before, but the shop sold a complete set with all needed components.

now for the tb-04 i am kind of lost and not sure which parts to order to complete the car so i have 3 questions:

1. what kind of servo or what kind of specifications for a servo i should be looking for?

2. and the same for a esc?

3. its just to start out with in a stock series, so it will be used with a tamiya 540 engine, but i might want to experiment with other engines outside the series what would be a good option?

thank you for any advice you can give me

all depends on the height of the front shock tower on the TB-04. the 07 NSX is for the IFS series of cars.

This is my first post on this forum. Yesterday, I ran my TB-04pro for the first time: high grip carpet, Carson 16T and Tamiya A-type. This will be my car for Tamiya Cup TW class.

The steering is so sweet, the car impressed me. After 5 packs, I looked at the rear arms more into detail and found out that their was a lot of slop. The arm could be moved back and forward. I saw on the track another TB-04 with the same problem.

What happend? What parts are worn out? Arms, plastic spacers? Another problem maybe? My TA-05v2R has the the same rear suspension, but build in CF and the spacers are in aluminium; no wear here.

Thanks for your input, Alwin
