Default F1 Indoor tires?

What´s the best suited rubber tire for low grip indoor carpet racing for a 3R F1-09... There´s to many to choose from, Ride, Pit, Tamiya and so on...

If you are running it as a narrow car you need totally different tyres to running it as a standard F109 as the tyres are very different in size.

For F104 tyres on carpet go for Pit Shimizu 571 and 572 tyres, with 574 fronts if you want more steering. The wheels to mount them on are Tamiya F104 wheels for foam tyres, not the wheels for rubbers. That should cover most circumstances and you will find that unlike touring car tyres you will need to run them for a few races before they start to really grip.

Paridus are good if you don't have traction.... Pits or tcs 31/32 are excellent and the ride r1 high compound are amazing in my opinion

The Pit tires that we are using at my LHS carpet track is F3 soft fronts and R1 hard rears. We had a guy experiment with all the different shore and brands of tires and these were the ones that work the best for us.

Yes, those would be the ones to use on the F104.

Sounds like its gonna be a set of Pitz on my "to order" list then... Are the Exotek rims still weak? Was thinking of getting a set of those, but have read that they are fragile!!

I stand corrected on the front tires. You will need the following for the F104:

PS 0574 - F3 S front
PS 0572 - R1 H rear

The PS 0571 F1-S is if you are going to race outdoors on the asphalt.

Is it better than the combination
PS 0573 Front and PS 0572 rear ?

You don't, the front and rear compounds are different. The front tyres use F1 and F3 compounds, the rears use R1 and R3 compounds.

My carpet choice is 572 rears with 571 or 574 fronts depending on the track and layout.
