Sounds like you got your $10 worth. I'd have charged more, but you wouldn't have had to do any trimming.

Edit: Printing one out now, so i'm not just talking poop. :-)

You just have to ensure that the motor temperature never reach 85°C or the PETG will start to lose its integrity.

I need 8 of the 10x5s.. please PM me if you have them in your parts box
I've got 2 factory sealed packs of the bushings and nylon bearings. If you haven't already got some, i'd ship them out to you.

Hey guys, looking to see if anyone happens to have a set of the 911 headlight buckets? It's for the 911 Carrera RSR body. I can use two AA Maglite reflectors, but they need a fair bit of trimming.

I'm unable to find any websites or listings with them.

Thanks!

I don't think they exist for that body.

If they were available they would be listed as an option in the body instructions.

Doesn't have to be for the Carrera body. Several of the 911 bodies have buckets the same size. You only get half the H parts bag for the Carrera, and the trunk and light buckets that come with the 934? are cut off the same sprue. The only ones that won't work are the ones that have more of an angle. The Taisan 911 also comes with the correct buckets for the Carrera; They would all take the same light bucket H parts, The Carrera just doesn't come with this one, but funny enough comes with light decals and also the transparent headlight decals.

I have a couple sets of the spare buckets from the 1/12 934 TamTech. I’ll check to see if they fit the Carrera RSR..

Oh sweet! I appreciate it man!
I saw a YT vid of someone using the 934 headlight buckets in the Carrera, that's where I figured out, they were used/can be used on several different 911 bodies. I'd have to heat and bend the upper attachment point to contact the body but they "should" work.

This was confirmed when I realized something was cut off the one side of the 911 Carrera mirror sprue; it was the 934 trunk lid.

Heres the YT link

It’s a total over slight by Tamiya to not include the light buckets for the RSR. Both the kit and body set cost more than usual due to the licensing for body and livery

It's all good. Thanks for checking though! I'm only planning to mask off the smallest circle for the headlights. Probably going to make carbon fiber headlight rings. May have to do it with some Maglite AA reflectors with some sanding to match the angle.

Default Indoor race tyres

What the best indoor carpet tyres to use for good grip and balance and we’re not allowed to use additive?
