They look good and it was great that you worked together. Having worked with kids, have them stay way from trees, curbs, mailbox posts, parked cars, etc. You get the idea. Have fun!

Hello all !
I want to upgrade my TT02 with a brushless motor. I'm a little beat lost... What type of motor is suitable to have a good level of performance on a track without destroying the tansmission (8.5T, 10.5T ?) ?

Thanx :)

17.5 - 21.5 you’re looking at stock racing.

8.5-13.5 you’re looking at mod racing.

I would stick to stock level motors.

Hi, does anyone know if there is a nicer battery strap available somewhrere (maybe carbon fiber?) than the kit plastic one?

PSM Carbon has some nice goodies:

I use the Tamiya Hop Up battery plate 54555 (transponder stay included).

Is there a blue hex screw set available for the TT02? Doesn't have to be Tamiya, actually price wise definitely doesn't need to be Tamiya :).

Or is there a place to get colored anodized screw hardware in bulk anywhere?

Ebay is where I get my aluminum hardware.

I get mine at amazon

Hi everybody,
Does someone has the possibility to post a copy of the manual of the TT-02 S Aluminum upper arm mount set? This is hop-up # 54651.
I couldn't find a manual online.
Thank you!

So I got the 1st or 2 kits built last weekend with my son.

I thought the stock friction sticks would be ok. I was wrong! Ordered some Yeah Racing replacements. The bearing were definitely a good choice. Also put an order in for a better pinion gear as it was advised the stock ones are a tad soft.

Keeping things as stock as possible for budget reasons. Staying with a 21.5 motor and going with Hobbywing budget ESC.

Overall I really like the build of these kits. Little nicer than the TA-01 I helped my dad build almost 30 years ago. And yes, I still have it.
