Darkside and everyone else:

Does Corally or any other company make a "carbon graphite" or flake style grahite chassis/shock tower for the AGLE? I need a new lower chassis and i like the look of the carbon graphite just like the one used in the C4.1

blue: well I know Corally doesn't, and no company I know of makes hop ups for Corally cars. So I would guess the answer is no.

blue: I've seen people like Trips selling their C4.1 for about $150. So if you keep your eyes open, you can probably score a C4.1 (with the pretty flake graphite ) pretty cheap.

You could probably get a used one for little more than what you would pay for a custom graphite chassis for the AGLE!

Just food for thought!

Good luck!

Darkside: Yup, i figure i'll spend more on the graphite parts than on a used C4.1 or the conversion kit even.

Then why not just go after the conversion kit. Then you'll have the top of the line Corally kit........plus the pretty flake graphite!

PW, from the state race flyer that I looked at on the Mission, how much is involved in changing spur gears? Also, I've seen the SRP of the graphite kit at about $279...is that the "street price"? I like the looks of the car and have thought about making a switch to something other than my current touring ride....who knows maybe a Schumacher in the future. Maybe that's why I'm all into the oval stuff right now because I'm looking for a change Hey at least that way when I beat Alex, it'll be by the same brand...LOL! Don't talk no smack Alex.....when was the last time you beat me? That's ok, I don't remember either Remember some of our 10th scale races? Now those were alot of fun! Congrats on winning the title bro! I wish I could've made more races....maybe next year the new rules will make it worth while! Best of luck in Cleveland!

Ive got the vic titles on this weekend, its a 3 day event..

ive gradually replaced bearings and arms hubs etc over hte last month,

i realised the only main parts i hadnt replaced were the shocks, diffs and chassis!

Ive got rebuild kits for the diffs and shocks, and i ordered a new chassis plate.

woulda been cheaper to sell the car and buy a new one...ohh well.

looks like a new car?..

Good luck King!

Well, this time last year (and the year before that and the year before that) Corally rumors were thrown out of a new car coming soon which have all come true.... anyone want to spread rumors of anything new from Corally?
I wonder if a one-belt chassis is in the works yet? Maybe with all the batts in a single row too? Maybe redesigned diffs that uses center bearings and larger pulleys? Maybe a recessed servo mounting position? Maybe raised inner rear hinge pins? Maybe a shortened rear chassis lip for better ground clearance? Maybe new rear arms that mount the rear shock further out? Maybe new stronger shock towers with constant radius shock mounting holes? We would rule the world!!!

MikeR: Ummmm, are you okay dude?!?

I like almost all the stuff you had there.

Unless they stick the in-line battery halfway under the main deck like the new Atlas chassis does and really, really narrow the chassis, I don't know about it. If they can do those things, then it would be okay.
I don't want a single belt because that would mean I would have to run a front one-way diff, and those things are too damn fragile for how much they cost.
I too would like to see some new arms. Maybe just a hair thinner and a little lighter, but the same strength. Oh, and of course more mounting holes on the rear arms.

And if they added one thing I would want them to add battery straps like the Xray, its still the neatest system around.
