hey all-
I'm going to get a micro rs4 myself. We have some small tracks that will be fun to race on. A micro race was held sunday and they seem to have a lot of potential for fun and tunability.
Ran my C4.1 at a club race and the car simply flys. Out qualified every car including modified and nitro with my stock motor set-up by a lap.
After running a Kyosho the C.4 makes me appreciate its awesome handling.
I've noticed people around here are dropping their brand new xxx-s left and right for lack of handling. have you guys noticed that trend around your areas?

MikeR: its good to see that you still like your Corally. I thought we were losing you to Kyosho for a minute there.
No I haven't notice that trend around here. The guys around here seem to love their Losi's and the cars seem to handle well. I have actually been quite impressed with the XXX-s. It seems very easy to drive fast.

I used to own a the Mr4TC and Mr4TCpro so I know the pains of running updates. I hate when companies decide to start including things in a kit that they should have put in there in the first place. It pretty much tells the people who bought the kit early that their stupid for doing so.
I plan on buying the new front and rear axles, but not before the ones I have, start to show signs of wear.

Guys, I recently purchased the new axles for the sake of it...the front ones are the ones which seem to wear on the old style axles, and a neat trick to make em last longer is to lightly coat them with some clear nail polish (wifes).
just add it where the bearing seats..and youll get a few months use until its needs doing again...
but the new ones are easier to remove those pesky c-clips which hold the axles in place, as they have a small hole cutout to get ya screwdriver behind the clip..

do they ever,,,the new axles are such a firm fit...they require a little persuasion to insert..(just how they should be
but you will find the nail polish trick will suffice if your originals arent too bad

Whoa guys, I had the most surprising run yesterday. I went racing w/ my friends at the local track and my Corally was running great with all the tips you guys gave me. I tried the split top deck mod, and it seems to work very well for me. Anyways, my run was going fine until suddenly my right rear wheel + intergral hub and universal just popped out during a highspeed sweeper.
The small C-Clip that help the hub in, I guess popped off or something, but luckliy I actually had a spare I found in my box. But has anyone had something similar happen to them? I don't think this is a chronic problem, but it quite a site

PorkyBMX- are you sure the spare one in your box wasn't the one that was supposed to be on your car
Another upgrade I wish I could find are Titanium hinge pins from lunsford or such. I thought they would atleast have Serpent Impulse sizes but no such luck. It's to expensive to keep having to replace those silver steel ones. I've heard of graphite pins but they are too fragile.

Saw a picture in a Japanese RC magazine on using snap rings instead of the original C-clips on the hub. This locks the hub better due to it's larger surface area plus it's easier to remove so maintenance of the bearings are a snap. Impulse hingepins also fit the C4/C4.1 except for the long ones on the front lower where u need to cut around 8mm that interferes w/ the bumper.

I got some great news for any of you who are like me and either don't have or don't want to use your credit card to order parts online.
I just got a response to an email I sent to CorallyUSA a few days ago and they said that they added a COD system to their online ordering system! This may not mean much to some of you, but for anyone who wants to mail order Corally parts and didn't want to use credit, this is great. The additional charge on your order for using COD is $6.00.
