Fans are a good idea if u want to avoid going thermal running low turn winds.

Black-Knight is correct. GT1 being the highest class in Aus TCS makes him not eligible to enter this year. I think by 2010 I should have a chance in going to Japan.

Hey guys, which is the better car: TA05 + hopups or the Yokomo SD-CGM?

We have several tracks available here and all are in Manila, my hometrack is at Action Hobbies Speedzone (unfortunately our site is unavailable at the moment). All of the tracks are asphalt.

Which one to use?
Usually in the fronts you use the same sizes/settings or width. But in the rear you should use the standard width in the forward side and use a wider width on the backside, the purpose of that is to add toe-in for the rear suspension, to keep the car more stable in corners. More toe-in will make more planted on cornering, but could cause understeer.
Try different settings to suit your driving style. Goodluck!

Hi GUys,
Hope I can get a non bias opinion
I was thinking of getting the 05 to practise and race occasionally...
Can the TA05 with the hop ups, can it be as competitive as say ie TRF415?
Will I be at a disadvantge if I race with and against the 'pro chassis'
I mean if with the same driver and same motor etc ... will the lap times be almost identical. ?
Do I make sense at all?
Thanks guys!

Seriously I think TA05 is a better layout design than 415, in fact I do faster in TA05 than 415 But it indeed need more $ to hopup TA05 in order to compete with 415. But hey.. 415 need to hopup to 415MSX soon... lol...

Personally I cannot compair the TA05 to the TRF415 simply because I don't own a TRF415. However I can say that I'm very happy with the perfomance of the TA05 sofar. I drove it on a indoor course a couple of times now, and it can withstand some punishment and it can keep up with some of the best on the track.
I use a 23T TZ motor with 25T pinion and have not yet used other tires than the standard profile tires. So with a little more tuning I expect to up the performence even more.
A positive thing about the chassis is that I can easily notice the affect of changes to the setup.
I like the TA05 very much sofar.
