Proceed5: I'll find out for sure this Saturday. I don't actually have a Tamiya TA05 yet. I'm trading one of my LRP Pulsar chargers for a rolling chassis that a friend has. Other than the photos posted here, I have yet to see a TA05.

Is that fitted with a Xenon or 3Racing Chassis or some other after-market brands?
Could you share your experience using the after-market chassis i.e. the handling difference from the ori Tamiya Graphite Tub?

It is the Tamiya Lightweight/Graphite Chassis I havnt run it yet but I know people who have and they seem to like it.

Ok thanks, I am also using the Tamiya Graphite Tub (Lightweight Graphite) chassis.
I like it very much, it is more responsive with the Graphite options put on and its handling will improve further when matched with the Reversible Arms package.

i got the carbon shock towers, wat do i need to do to the edges of it the instruction made no sense?

I didn't do anything to the edges of my graphite shock towers.

Well, I coated the exposed portions of the Graphite Shock Towers, Center Top Mount, Battery Holders (& every other Graphite part) with a super thin layer of CA. I use the Pacer CA - pink color bottle.

I prefer to use Losi Medium. It stands up well and doesn't run all over.

The best option I've found is to use superthin or thin CA on a Q-tip. You'll use alot less CA and you don't have to worry about CA ruining your work. Just make sure you have a few extra Q-tips

Also how much dual rate should i have, im on 110 and its barely enough. How do i get more steering?

Hi Juan,
Maybe try adjusting the Springs, shocks positioning, Droops, Roll-bars as a quick aid.

I run lightweight standard arms in the rear and the shorts up front. I have all the steering you could ever want.
