Are you looking for a setup to run with no hopups and no other parts besides what came in the kit?
I would use yellow springs and yellow sway bars all around as a start with the dampers in the stock mounting points as a base. Anything is a good start though. Just adjust as needed.

larlee....
The poster was stating glue your outer sidewalls of your tires. I would also suggest applying a bead of glue on your carbon shock towers as well. Get the TRF shocks they are well worth it. You can find them online for around $45-$60

the white pistons WILL work, I have a TRF and CVA shock here, open, on me desk, the TRF piston fits just as good as the black piston, and it a good way of getting better damping control other than having to buy TRF shocks.
Glue the sidewalls on the CS22's on the front, otherwise it gets a little snatchy.

the graphite rear hubs are 1deg... and the newer Tamiya GT1 cars come with 0deg hubs.
check TryHard's website for the Toe Block spreadsheet for reference.

I'm trying help jason set up his TAS-05 with a brushless and I only have a limited number of blocks. He has the 3R racing chassis and he's running the stock arms, blocks and hubs.
I went to the tryhards website and downloaded the block chart.
See you guys on saturday.
thanks

Well I just soldered on my esc/motor and the ta05 is a lot quieter than my 04. Hmm kind of odd but oh well. Man I'm too lazy to paint my Lexus. I don't have the right paint aka the white stuff but I do have a old can. It's one of those hard to find colors. Some sort of red or rusty color. Dare I be different?

I was finally able to give my TA05 a full race day workout. I went back to a sway bar set-up and I wasmore than able to keep up with the big ticket"thoroughbreds". I was hard-charging on a 415 mre (for 3rd place),but bobbled in the last 10 seconds . I had to settle for 4th, But atleast I finished 1 second faster than my qualifying run! The only hop-ups I have on the car are: frt.one-way,sway bar, blue screws, carbon batt. strap and LW chassis. The battery strap is an attempt at a little bling. Fight the power, Ta05 owners--Al

Its a HUGE switch from our mini speedo to that thing...
But from your discription of your first test, it seems worth it.
